That was simple and fun! As I progressed I got ever more invested in getting it right because I didn't want to start over

I think the narration and the audio files need a sound balacing. Some animals sounds were really loud, while the narrator was perhaps not even half as loud, so I had to adjust my volume constantly

I could not comment in Ludum Dare's page. Great game! I loved the Zelda like dungeon feeling. I played it once, could not buy any upgrades because I had to replenish my hearts. Too sad. Just once when I was playing I was hit by one of these retractable spikes, but I have a feeling that I was far enough from it. Great job!
